FoamCore is a material on which is used widely for mounting photos, prints and other artworks. Foam board can also be used to construct architectural models and dioramas. The basic structure is polystyrene sandwiched in between an outer layer of durable paper. This greatly reduces the weight of the finished product when compared with a frame using MDF as a backing board. This means less stress is placed upon your walls or the structure you are hanging the finished mounted frame from.
FoamCore board is a safer, more lightweight alternative to traditional backing boards and comes in normal or adhesive variety.
The board we use is acid-free, meaning your art and design works are mounted or constructed from an archive-quality material, adding to their longevity and brilliance.
